We are pleased to announce a new series, Evolution Highlights [1]. Each month, this series will highlight some of the interesting and varied papers published within the last few years in Evolution [2]. This month, we highlight "How mountains shape biodiversity: The role of the Andes in biogeography, diversification, and reproductive biology in South America’s most species-rich lizard radiation (Squamata: Liolaemidae) [3]." Highlight by Damien Esquerré.
