Outreach: Host a Teacher in Your Lab This Summer

Are you interested in hosting a K-12 teacher in your lab this summer? The Teachers Researching Evolution program, run by BEACON Education and Outreach [1] and supported by the SSE Education and Outreach Committee with funds from Wiley Publishers, will provide support for three teachers this summer. You will be asked to draft a brief project summary. Please note: The Teachers Researching Evolution program works as a ‘matchmaker’ to connect teachers with researchers.  If you have a teacher you would like to work with, please indicate so in the application. If not, we will do our best to help find one in your local area.
